Ling-Ling's Bali.
Taco Tuesday at 15k a taco is the move. Tried them all, decent across the board, none stood out. Good value, fun night, not a destination off-deal.

Decent, not amazing.
We came for Taco Tuesday at 15k each and ordered the full lineup. Fish, chicken, beef, the works. They were all fine, properly assembled, fresh enough, but nothing on the table made us slow down to talk about it. The fried chicken taco had the best execution: crisp coating, sauce that didn't drown it, slaw with real crunch. The beef was tender but a bit one-note. The fish was the safest pick. At 15k per taco on Tuesday this is good value and a fun night out. Off-deal nights they'd need to drop the price or sharpen the flavours. Beer was cold, music was loud, place was busy. Coming back next Tuesday, not before.

Noodle Bar by Bakmie Rantang Ayam Rebus
Dim sum that disappears in three bites. Lava buns first, har gow and siu mai right after, bee hoon and char siu to finish. The chili oil is the real deal. Portions oversized, prices not.

The Forge
Monday steak night is the smart play. Steak came medium rare exactly as ordered, the truffle mac on the side is the order to make, two sauces both worth dipping into. Glass of wine included. Cheap for what you get.

RM Padang Pondok Duo, Kerobokan
Classic rumah makan with fair prices, generous plates, and a sambal that made us order extra rice. Friendly staff, nothing fancy, easy recommend.
